Work shifts and Visit allocation

Can the carers get a notification when their work shift has been added to the app?
Can they also get notifications when visits have been allocated to them? it may not be automatic; the planner has to choose to publish it after the allocation is complete.
We can have a button that says publish work shift so they all get the notifications at once, and then be able to see when they are working instead of manually sending rotas out.

Hi Simo Hännikkälä
- I think in-app and sms would be best, for in-app if the pop-up can stay on till the message is read.
- It should go immediately.
one question though, I hope the publish button will not mess with the current setting, publish button sends the notification, but irrespective, they should still be able to see their allocations even without using the button (as the settings are currently). I hope I am making sense?
- An option wouldn't hurt, but if it is automated, I guess the app would be able to pick the date and time of visits. i.e, your visit for Fri Aug 8 has been allocated or adjusted, OR an additional visit has been added to your AM route for today, OR your work shift for week 04/08 - 10/08 has been published. Something like that.
So I think the publish button for allocation will be on the schedule page, while the one for work shift would be on the carer's work shift page.

Hiya Nike Esan, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- How would you like the notification to be delivered to the carers (e.g., email, SMS, in-app notification)?
- Is there a specific timeframe within which the notifications should be sent after the work shift or visit allocation is published?
- Would you like the option to customize the notification message that carers receive?
