Mileage Calculations & Mileage Pay visible on Carer App

In carer app, staff should be able to see the distance travelled for work and if possible auto calculate the mileage pay in the app. This could ideally be on each call scheduled, Or can show up as total on the top (like total hours already visible on app). This will help a lot and many carers have raised this to be added on their app.

It would be very helpful to have an option within the app for carers to see the petrol allowance or mileage payment they are receiving for each shift or visit.
Alongside this, it would be useful to include a simple tick-box or toggle where driving carers can confirm whether they were the driver or a non-driver during that visit (If both driving carers are driving separately, they are only paid in full for the first and last client, and the rest is divided in half).
This feature would:
- Improve transparency and trust around mileage payments.
- Reduce the number of manual mileage queries received by the office.
- Make it easier to verify who was driving when visits are shared between two carers.
- Help ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for travel allowances.

- How do carers currently track their mileage and mileage pay, and what challenges do they face with the current method?
- Would carers prefer to see mileage and mileage pay information per call or as a total for the day/week?
- Are there specific features or functionalities related to mileage tracking that carers have suggested or would find particularly useful?

Simo Hännikkälä Currently they do not have a tracking system on the app pr phone, but manually keep a record. Our team collect their driving days and calculate the mileage from nurse buddy towards their pay. But this information is not available to each carer to access from nurse buddy. At the moment carers would prefer to see the total mileage for the day and pay info. even it is broken down to each call, that's workable too. Access to that information is more important. As of specific features, we would like to recommend few if possible. 1. Payroll team should be able to activate and deactivate the visibility of this function (visibility access for mileage and pay separately- basically a lock option) 2. Payroll team should be able to select the start and end location of mileage calculation (Ex: from first call to last call) 3. Payroll team should be able to download, the information for pay
