We are requesting a feature where a manager can countersign that they have checked the transcription of new medication made by another into the system, and are satisfied the transcription is correct. This will improve on the accuracy of the MAR chart and care staff can administer medication accurately.

- Managers will need to countersign everytime new medication is transcribed into the MAR;
- This has been a recommendation after a Medicines Management Review by the Medicines Optimisation Team from NHS Nottingham & Nottinghamshire ICB to ensure accuracy;
- It would be beneficial to have notifications sent to managers after transcription to request countersigning.

Nursebuddy already has a list of medication administration events in the eMAR. How would this audit tool differ from that? (just trying to understand what is missing etc.)

Antero Salonen: This is specifically for managers that they can sign eMAR and mark them as revised or audited. Also audits will include stock levels that help them to know when to order medications
