It is now possible to define visit product specific payroll rates for carers.
This allows setting care type rates (eg. bigger pay for more demanding work) that is defined by the products of the visits.
More info to come. Feature is now being rolled out to and soon everybody will have access to it.

I'd also like to have the option of multiple payroll rate plans for a carer. Also, would it be possible to allocate a payroll rate to a geographical location, team or visit?

To our understanding this could be solved by making it possible to link certain Payroll rate plans with selected Visit products. We're planning on making this possible.
Payroll system would work as it is working now, but for the rate plans that are for e.g. "Nursing services", you'd have a "Nursing service" (or similar) visit product and you'd set the corresponding Payroll rate plan so that it's linked to that visit product. Then visits with "Nursing service" product would get the payroll rate from there etc.
Any thoughts on this solution?

Antero Salonen: This sounds like a good solution. For example, we pay staff higher rates to attend calls due to their remote location. At the moment we're doing that manually in a separate spreadsheet. Changing the product in the way you specify would automate this.
