Double Up Combinations
Simo Hännikkälä
Hiya Ruvimbo Jamali, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific reasons do you have for wanting to decline pairing certain carers on a double up visit?
- How frequently do you encounter situations where you need to decline pairing certain carers?
- Are there any specific criteria or conditions that should automatically trigger a decline in pairing carers?

Care for me
Simo Hännikkälä We also run into this issue quite often.
- Some carers have personality clashes / interpersonal issues outside of work / issues working with another specific carer (for a wide variety of reasons), though both are fine to go to the same client with any other carer and neither one needs to be put on the no-go list.
- Quite often, we have a spreadsheet to keep track of these pairings, as we have many long term 2-carer cases so it comes up often enough, though this is not perfect.
- No automatic criteria.
If there were just somewhere on the system to add these carer conflicts (similar to the "No-Go carers" list on a clients Service tab, but for each carer) which would then prevent both carers from being assigned to a visit. Ideally it would display the a similar type of pop-up as when you try to assign a carer to a client visit who is on that clients no-go list, but with some type of "Carer Conflict" message.
