When a client is admitted to hospital is it possible to stop the medication without ending it, so the emar alerts stop popping up as not administered.

We're planning on solving this with Client absences. When absence is added, manager would be able to confirm that medications during that absence won't be given by the care company. This way those meds would be marked on eMAR with a green code "A" (for "Absence") automatically. How does this sound?
