Change the date filter to the same as the visits date filter or at least add an option to filter by last month.
Add a filter to allow the user to select the Carer/Client.

When creating an absence, make the absence description a drop down that can be populated in settings with the organisation's preferred types of absence descriptions, similar to how invoice contacts work. Then add a filter for absence descriptions in the absence report as well.
